Evening in the End Zone,  a “Night of Spectacles”, is an annual event honoring the legacy of great athletes, coaches, vision professionals and community leaders who have made a difference with their generosity and spirit of giving back to those less fortunate in our community.


This year we are presenting the following awards:

Lighthouse Beacon of Hope Award recipient
(The Lighthouse Beacon of HOPE Award honors a medical professional who provides an outstanding commitment to vision healthcare for the uninsured)

Gary Stokan Hero of the Gridiron Award recipient 
(The Gary Stokan Hero of the Gridiron Award is to honor a current or former NCAA collegiate football player, coach, or administrator who exemplifies the spirit of teamwork and comradery through outstanding participation in or leadership of community service, philanthropic efforts outside the required hours)

Vince Dooley Visionary Leadership Award recipient 
(The Vince Dooley Visionary Leadership Award honors an individual who has a vision to make a difference, the leadership skill and relentless persistence to move everyone in that direction)

George Crumbley Vision for the Future Award recipient
(The George Crumbley Vision for the Future Award honors a community leader who has invested their time, talents, and energy in building a sustainable future of a nonprofit organization)

The Grace Clower Community Partnership Award recipient

Annually Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, Inc. supports over 300 patients throughout the state with sight-saving surgeries. While costs fluctuate based
on need the average cost of cataract surgery is about $2,500.
