Join Heartland Conservation Alliance and our expert guide, Alix, for an immersive and educational Wild Edibles & Fungi Foray. This isn't your traditional walk in the woods; it's a journey into understanding the intricate and delicious world of wild plants and fungi.
More than just a learning opportunity, this hike is a chance to connect with nature on a deeper level. You'll experience the joy of discovering hidden bounties, the thrill of identifying new species, and the satisfaction of understanding the interconnectedness of our ecosystems.
Important reminders and what to bring:
- Full water bottle.
- Wear weather appropriate clothing, we suggest wearing layers for comfort in varying weather conditions. Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes to avoid unwanted bug bites.
- Bring any bug spray or sunscreen you need.
- There are not restrooms on site, please plan accordingly.
