Benefitting the Greater Wilmington Boys & Girls Club locations, the Helicopter Ball Drop is one of the most exciting events of the year!

The Helicopter Ball Drop is where 500 numbered golf balls are dropped from a helicopter over a golf hole set up at our
H. Fletcher Brown Club playground – it’s is a wonderful production sponsored by ACT, invloving Potter Anderson & Corroon and the Wilmington Fire Department.

The ball that lands in or closest to the designated hole wins $4,500.  In the event there are multiple balls that land in or equal distance from the hole, the prize will be split evenly. This event has raised over $45,000 for the Clubs over the past
three years!
