The Center for Prevention & Counseling (CFPC) is a charitable nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency located in Newton, NJ. Our mission, since 1974, has been to promote hope, health, and recovery among all people by creating an environment safe and free from the effects of substance use and addiction. Over the past five decades, CFPC has empowered thousands of individuals, families, and youth to make healthier choices, strengthened community connections, reduced the stigma of addiction, and led people to recovery. As we mark this milestone we remain committed to fostering resilience, offering compassionate support and creating a brighter future for all.
