The 2024 Kent County Flame of Hope event will take place on August, 20th at Cannonsburg Ski Area. You can run, bike or walk this event. There will be a 5K Trail Run, 1 mile community trail fun run, bike open trail ride and hill bike challenge.

Your registration will include a raffle ticket for a prize!  

 This event will start at 5:00 pm with registration and event photo at 5:30 pm and takeoff at 5:35 pm. 

During our statewide tournaments, we proudly carry the Flame of Hope and light the cauldron to mark the events. As a participant in the Flame of Hope Community Run in Kent County, you play a crucial role as Guardians of the Flame for the athletes who compete year-round in Special Olympics Michigan. 

By carrying the torch in your local community, you bring hope, courage, and inspiration to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
