A Message from Dr. Susan Love
Over the past 12 years, together we have raised millions of dollars for breast cancer research through our annual Walk With Love. This year, as the #1 breast cancer research organization in the U.S., we can achieve even more. On May 15, we are going virtual again, with a slight difference — Move With Love. This year, we want to get the world moving. Whether you walk, run, swim, golf, dance, or spin — your actions support the forward movement of research to end breast cancer.
In this time of uncertainty, we remain committed to our mission, to end breast cancer. As of 2020, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world in women, surpassing lung cancer with 2.3 million new cases. Now more than ever we need research to end this devastating disease.
Registered virtual participants will receive a Move With Love bundle, which includes a limited-edition t-shirt, custom movement bib, and a social media toolkit to help you share your experience with the Move With Love community online. VIP participants will also receive our collectible pin.
Together we will reach our fundraising goal of $150,000 in support of innovative, ground-breaking breast cancer research.
With LOVE,
Susan Love, MD, MBA

Our goal is to raise $150,000 for life-changing breast cancer research
When you participate in Move With Love, the money you raise supports collaborative, cutting-edge research focused on improving the lives of people impacted by this disease.
Our Research
While the anatomy of the human body has been well delineated, the internal distribution of adult female breast ducts remains largely understudied. This is important to note since breast cancer starts in the breast ducts prior to spreading to surrounding tissue. Funds raised through Move With Love 2021 will directly support our Exploring the Ductal Anatomy project. Our goal is to utilize speed of sound 3D ultrasounds to visualize the distribution of ducts within a particular breast as well as to locate early lesions within a duct. This approach will enable both sampling the fluid in the duct (liquid biopsy) as well as the installation of intraductal therapy to better treat the disease right where it starts. We're getting close to understanding the causes of breast cancer, but to keep this research going, we are asking for your support of Move With Love 2021.
