The Greenlining Institute, in partnership with the Community Rejuvenation Project, invites our community of friends and supporters to celebrate the completion of the AscenDance and the community-driven process that brought the vision to life.

+ Remarks from Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, Assemblymember Mia Bonta, as well as local activists, leaders and culture-keepers

This mural project was an enormous undertaking, led by the Community Rejuvenation Project, and engaging community members and local organizations. Join us as we celebrate the collaborative vision that came to life through this mural -- and the spirit of Oakland activism that inspired its inception.
