The National Veterans Network (NVN) invites you to a dinner reception and program in Washington D.C. on Saturday, November 12 in honor of Veterans Day.  The dinner theme, Standing on the Shoulders of Giants: Honoring the Japanese American WWII Nisei Soldiers, is a tribute to the 33,000 Nisei Soldiers, Giants of our Nation and Community who paved the way to advance equality and justice by rising above fear and prejudice to demonstrate their loyalty, courage and patriotism in service to the United States. All World War II veterans will be recognized as the special guests, along with testimonials that shares the positive impact the Japanese American WWII veterans have had in the lives of all Americans.  All proceeds will benefits the educational initaitives of NVN.
