About the Race
Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary will be holding its 16th Annual 5K Run for the Animals and 1-Mile Fun Walk on Sunday, May 19th. All funds raised will go towards the life saving work Poplar Spring does every day. The funds will care and feed the farm animals that live at Poplar Spring, as well as educate the public about compassion towards all animals.
Poplar Spring will be given $12,000 in matching donations. So at least $12,000 in donations will be matched. DOUBLING your donation! Please share this page with your family and friends. Your involvement is critical to Poplar Spring’s success. Thank you for all your help.
Online registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16th. You will still be able to register at packet pickup on Saturday, May 18th and on race day from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the race.
Every race participant who preregisters for the race will receive a stylish Poplar Spring race t-shirt!
