+ PAINT FOR PEAKS

About the Campaign
After raising over $87,000 in the past three years to help fight breast cancer, Taos Ski Valley is proud to host B4BC's Shred the Love taking place on Saturday, February 24, 2018. The Shred the Love celebrations will include a full day of unique and exciting fundraising activities to benefit Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) and the Anita Salas Memorial Fund. Skiers, riders, artists, families, visitors and locals are invited to join in support of this important cause that affects so many of us.
You’re invited to take part in the 7th Annual TSV Shred the Love, with a new twist! Pink Olympics! This event promotes an active lifestyle while raising awareness and funds for B4BC’s education and support programs. Come out and compete in teams of two, or tackle the feat on your own! Athletes must raise a minimum of $50 to participate. Obsticle course style rules to follow.
*Unfortunely due to low snow, the K2 Bumps Challenge has been cancelled. The Pink Olympics will be held in the base area in front of the Martini Tree Bar.
After the Pink Olympics, skiers, boarders, their supporters, visitors and other members of the community will join in the Martini Tree Bar for the awards ceremony and an unrivaled art exhibit. Entering its 9th year of success, Taos Ski Valley will host K2 Paint for Peaks: Snowboard Art Auction featuring custom, one-of-a-kind artwork created on snowboards produced by renowned local and regional artists. 100% of the proceeds from the art sale will go to B4BC and local non-profit, the Anita Salas Memorial Fund.

EVENT BENEFICIARIES
All proceeds and donations from the auction and the on-mountain event will benefit two non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations.
BOARDING FOR BREAST CANCER (B4BC) – a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation whose mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of an active lifestyle. Founded in 1996, B4BC empowers young people to make positive choices that promote lifelong wellness through education outreach and survivorship support programs.
THE ANITA SALAS MEMORIAL FUND provides financial assistance for breast cancer services in New Mexico. Skiers, artists, families, and visitors are invited to spend a day at Taos Ski Valley in support of this important cause. Ski and ride one of the country’s top mountains by day, and enjoy a spectacular event and display of artwork by night. Paint for Peaks provides the perfect opportunity to entertain clients, reward an employee for exceptional efforts, or simply treat yourself to this great experience.
