Albuquerque Empty Bowls Returns After Nine Years
Empty Bowls is a grassroots initiative by artists and craftspeople around the world. The Storehouse New Mexico food pantry is honored to be the recipent of the Albuquerque Empty Bowls fundraiser this year.
All proceeds help the Storehouse food pantry to provide free groceries to people in need in New Mexico - from infants to seniors.
The Storehouse is pleased to announce that the Carl C. Anderson Sr. and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation will donate up to $20,000 in matching dollars to feed New Mexico's hungry children and families. Your gift today could be doubled. Thank you!
Attendees will receive a beautiful handmade ceramic bowl and lunch.
Handmade bowls created by Albuquerque potters and clay artists. Lunch will be provided by area restaurants.
Thanks to the Anderson Charitable Foundation matching funds - your $25 donation becomes $50!
Your gifts are important to the Storehouse. Our food pantry feeds an average of 35,000 people a year, right here in New Mexico. Currently 1 in every 5 children in the state is going hungry Together, we can make a difference.
