Enjoy food and drinks from chefs, restaurants, wineries and breweries around the county as they share their favorite flavors from home during our second annual Taste of Home event.
We will celebrate 13 years of homeownership for our Roosevelt Street community in Carlsbad, and raise vital funds for the 28 homes in our construction pipeline. Your partnership will help us provide more affordable homeownership opportunities to those in our community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from homeowners, mingle with Habitat staff, participate in a silent auction and raffle, and hear more about where we are building next.

Is this donation tax-deductible?
San Diego Habitat For Humanity is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
What does my ticket include?
All tickets include food and drink tastings, and an opportunity to take part in our raffles and silent auction. General admission tickets do not include reserved seating, but there will be plenty of standing and seated options available.
Is there parking at the event site?
Yes, there will be parking adjacent to the event site for all attendees.
Can I buy raffle tickets?
Raffle tickets will be available at the event. They will be 1 for $10, 5 for $40 or 20 for $100. You can enter to win fabulous prizes!
What is the attire for this event?
Dress in your favorite beach attire, feel free to keep is casual or get a little fancy! This event will be outdoors so please dress accordingly. Carlsbad tends to be warm in the afternoon and have a cool breeze in the evening.
What does this fundraiser benefit?
All funds will benefit the 28 homes in our pipeline that will be constructed in Escondido and Santee. As the cost of building materials and supplies continues to rise, we ask for your support in making affordable homeownership accessible to all.
