Join Trinidad Police Department and local law enforcement to help raise money for Special Olympics!
8:00am Registration
(Trinidad Police Department, 160 E First, Trinidad, CO 81082)
9:00am Torch Run begins
Start of run at Exit 11; runners and police escort will carry the torhc from exit 11 to Main Street. Once on Main Street, the race for individuals will begin. Individuals will carry the torch a city block at at time, to another individual stationed from Main Street to Kit Carson by pass, to exit 15 and ending at 18.

About the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR)
LETR is Special Olympics’ largest grass-roots fundraising and public awareness vehicle. Law enforcement (the Guardians of the Flame) and athletes, light the "Flame of Hope" at events and competitions throughout the state to embody unity and inclusiveness.
During the months of May and June, law enforcement throughout Colorado will be carrying the “Flame of Hope” during the 2019 Torch Run Series.
Support this cause to raise awareness and funds for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Colorado!
