Over the past 13 years, together we have raised millions of dollars for breast cancer research through our annual Walk With Love. This year, as the #1 breast cancer research organization in the U.S., we can achieve even more. On May 15, we are so happy to be back in person (of course with our virtual component again). This year, we want to get the world moving once again! 

As of 2020, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world in women, surpassing lung cancer with 2.3 million new cases. Now more than ever we need research to end this devastating disease. 

Registered  participants will receive a Walk With Love bundle, which includes a limited-edition t-shirt, a custom walker's bib, and a social media toolkit to help you share your experience with the Walk With Love community online. VIP participants will also receive our collectible pin.

Together we will reach our fundraising goal of $150,000 in support of innovative, ground-breaking breast cancer research.

While the anatomy of the human body has been well delineated, the internal distribution of adult female breast ducts remains largely understudied. This is important to note since breast cancer starts in the breast ducts prior to spreading to surrounding tissue. Funds raised through Walk With Love 2022 will directly support our Exploring the Ductal Anatomy project. Our goal is to utilize speed of sound 3D ultrasounds to visualize the distribution of ducts within a particular breast as well as to locate early lesions within a duct. This approach will enable both sampling the fluid in the duct (liquid biopsy) as well as the installation of intraductal therapy to better treat the disease right where it starts. We're getting close to understanding the causes of breast cancer, but to keep this research going, we are asking for your support of Walk With Love 2022. 

As of 5/10/2022, if you are choosing to register as a virtual participant, 
you will not receive your t-shirt prior to the walk.

In-person registration is closed as of 5 pm 5/13/2022. 
If you would like to join us in person, please feel free to register on Sunday at the walk.
