Many local schools would like to send their students to attend Walk a Mile, but it is not within their budget. While some students can afford a registration fee, not all can. With your sponsorship, you can provide an opportunity for 50 students to attend Walk a Mile, meet our SAFE & DV team, and learn how to keep themselves and their friends safe from crimes of violence and abuse.

With a family sponsorship you are supporting an incredibly important program for our community. With your donation, you receive 2 walker registrations and 2 student registrations. Your family name will be listed on signage at the event.

While some students can afford a registration fee, not all can. Your gift will allow an individual student to attend this year's Walk a Mile event, meet our SAFE & DV team, and learn how to keep themselves and their friends safe from crimes of violence and abuse. We will capture your name for receipting purposes but will work with local schools to identify students who wish to participate but for whom registration fees are a barrier.
