I joke that "my life has gone to the dogs" and in many ways it is true.  I have found my passion - to help animals live a better/longer life so that they can provide joy and comfort to their human friends.  My girls (dogs) are an important part of my family and two of them (Coco and Ebony - see below) go with me to spread love at assisted living facilities, children's homes and schools through the SSPCA Love on Loan program. I get to experience the impact their presence makes on people so it is important for all of us to join in and help save animals lives and find loving homes for them. They will repay their new family in countless ways.  

The SSPCA has saved so many, found new homes for thousands more and improved their quality of life.  However, none of that is possible without your support since we do not receive any tax dollars. It is all done through your generosity.   Below are two examples of scared dogs (a sweet, scared Staffie and a Dutch Sheppard) that I have found in the park next to my home.  They were obviously "dumped" and without caring people and shelters their life would have been miserable and short.  There are millions of such examples and not enough money or space to save them all BUT you can help.  

It is never easy to ask for money but I ask that you please reach into your heart and wallet and donate whatever you can afford. Every dollar helps.
