I, along with my roller derby friends, are participating in Boarding For Breast Cancer's "Skate the Lake" fundraiser this year. We will be roller skating a 28-mile stretch outdoors along Lake Tahoe in support of the B4BC organization and their beneficiaries, and as well as riding for our loved ones who have been affected by breast cancer.

Please consider making a small donation to help us meet our team's fundraising goal of $500. If there is anyone you would like to have commemorated, please let me know. I will add their name(s) to a pink ribbon and affix the ribbons to my backpack for the ride.

Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation that advocates early detection and a healthy, active, and sustainable lifestyle as the best means for breast cancer prevention. Founded in 1996, B4BC empowers young people to make positive choices that promote lifelong wellness through outreach, prevention, sustainability, and support programs. Beneficiaries have included The Breast Cancer Fund, The Susan G. Komen Foundation, The Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research and a variety of regional breast cancer support organizations.
