As most of you know, I have been with NextStep since its inception in 2008. NextStep and its clients are very dear to me and my family, and as a 501c3 Non-profit organization, every dollar raised goes to positively effecting change for the neurologically impaired. 

This October, I am taking the challenge! I am doing this in support of NextStep and the 6 Million Americans living with paralysis. 

My choose your adventure challenge is designed to reflect the daily challenges of those living with paralysis. For some, the transfer from bed to a wheelchair is a challenge, for others its the struggle to dress, for some, its the daily mental struggle to overcome obstacles related to life with paralysis. No matter the struggle, it is a daily choice to fight the overwhelming obstacles to push on for the betterment of self and loved ones. 

The majority of us can face very little adversity day to day if we so choose. I am making the decision to create adversity, with a goal of deciding to overcome, as many others must choose to each day. 

With your financial support, those in need of services will continue to have the opportunity to choose accessible fitness and wellness.

My Goal

• Raise funds to provide progressive rehab and fitness to individuals living with paralysis, so they have the opportunity for recovery, health,and independence.
• Raise awareness about the lack of adequate healthcare and affordable rehabilitation services for people living with paralysis and the accessibility issues they face on a daily basis.
• Educate, inspire and engage people to support people living with paralysis.
