In support of Children with Diabetes and all the great things that they do for the Type 1 Diabetes Community, I’m going to be raffling off several “BIG Bowls” handmade by me.  The pictures below are examples of bowls that I have made in the past and have donated to various charitable causes.

If you have been to recent Children with Diabetes Friends for Life conferences, you have probably seen some of my bowls in the basket auction in the exhibit hall.  Each bowl is hand crafted out of stoneware or porcelain clay.  Typically, the finished diameter of a bowl is between 21 and 24 inches and they are setup to be hung on a wall, if desired.

So here are the details:

• Going to start with two bowls.
• For each $10.00 donation, you will receive 1 entry for the raffle.  Use the “Other” button to enter your donation in $10.00 increments.
• Once there are 50 ($10.00) donations received, I’ll add another bowl to the mix so the odds of a single-entry winning will be 1 in 25 or better.
• For every 25 donations over 50, I’ll add an additional bowl to the mix, up to a maximum of 6 bowls (I’m an optimist).
• I may increase the maximum number of bowls depending on response.

If the kiln gods are good to me, I will have a selection of bowls for the raffle winners to chose from at the next CWD FFL Conference (hopefully in 2021).  If you win and are not planning to attend the FFL Conference, I will make arrangements to show the selection of bowls available and obtain shipping information.
