On June 18th, 2022, I will be running the Leadville Trail  Half Marathon in Leadville, Colorado. I will be running with Team Leadville, which is a group of veterans, first responders, and awesome human beings who've volunteered to run the marathon in order to bring awareness and funding support to Warriors' Ascent.



The mission of Warriors’ Ascent is to save lives by teaching veterans and first responders with PTS (post traumatic stress) the skills to heal from the trauma they've endured in service to the nation.



In order to participate with Team Leadville, I committed to raising $1000. The $1000 will sponsor one veteran or first responder to attend a Warriors’ Ascent week-long retreat that includes food, lodging, and training by clinicians and providers. These courses offer a holistic approach to dealing with PTS, with goal of preventing veteran and first responder suicide.
