Imagine living your life as usual then boom everything changes! Well here is where my journey begins, on January 23rd, 2020 my life would change. This was the day on which I was diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). I can remember this day like it was yesterday. What I thought started off as a normal day took a turn for the worse.  I wasn't sure how my life would change or if I would ever be the same person. During this journey, I have truly discovered a fight within me that I didn't even know existed. This has been a journey of growth and self-love that I never thought I would ever have to undergo. But I'm also very grateful for this as I've grown so much. When I meet different people and inform them of my AVM they are always amazed at the fact that I don't look like anything I've gone through. My words to that will always be never judge a book by its cover.
