Year 4 here we come! As the fundraising chair, board secretary & Educational Facilitator, I know your donation is making a difference in the youth and dogs' lives.  These 3-week programs are beneficial as students are learning communication, respect, body language, empathy, and responsibility while the dogs learn skills that will help them get adopted and stay in their forever homes. K9 Youth Alliance will be working on expanding the number of programs held from 3 to 4, which means increased numbers of students and dogs served. That means more youth will have the skills to train their family dogs, as well as develop social/emotional skills. Plus more shelter dogs will learn the skills that many families want in their dogs when they go to their home. On a personal note, this year I'm training hard to qualify for the Boston marathon, which means running a 3.36 hr marathon, or 9:30/mile for 26.2 miles. Help me and K9YA reach our goals this year!
