Central Route

During Run Week, additional LETR members will be making the nonstop 700-mile relay that starts in Copper Harbor in the tip of the Upper Peninsula and ends downstate at Belle Isle. This is known as the Central Route run and starts early on September 12 and ends on Friday September 16 This relay is composed of three teams; Michigan State Police, Fraternal Order of Police and Michigan Department of Corrections. Each team has at least 6 runners who each run a five mile leg. Each team runs 30 miles at a time. These runners have been raising money all year so they can participate in the event.
