Hope your spring season has treated you well, and you are welcoming the heatwave known as summer.  I’m leading the Break The Cycle 200 bike ride again this year from Des Moines to Okoboji to raise money and awareness to fight human trafficking.  This year the ride is on Friday, June 23^rd.  We currently have about 50 riders which is just right.  We have a generous anonymous donor which offered to match all donations to Hope For Justice for the next 3 weeks up to $100,000.  Grant, Mallory, and I will also participate in the the Break The Cycle: The Challenge ride which is on June 10^th.  We plan to ride 50 miles on our triple bike (picture attached).  The 3 of us are also training for RAGBRAI which will be a 500 mile ride the last week of July across Iowa (also on our triple).  If you are interested in donating to the cause, please use this link below.  I greatly appreciated your support in years past.  I’ll be sure to send you live links of our ride and pictures along the way.  Thank you for your interest in helping others be free.  

I’m riding 200 hundred miles in one day so others can be free from modern slavery. Here are some shocking statistics.

-Human trafficking is one of the largest criminal industries in the world.

-It is a $150 billion industry and growing annually.

-There are currently an estimated 40.3 million people enslaved around the globe.

-71% of these 40.3 million victims are women and girls.

-1 in every 4 victims of modern slavery globally is a child.

This list, unfortunately, goes on, but that's why we need to come together to put a stop to it now!
