My Aunt Amy has just recently passed on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 and to honor her memory, I would like to start a fundraiser to raise up to $500 towards Donate Life America. When my aunt was born she was diagnosed with congenital heart defect. This left her with a heart that as she has explained to me numerous times as running backwards. 

Diana Curtis was 31 years old when she passed away in 1994. Her mother Irene Curtis did not hesitate to donate her daughter's organs. This included her daughter's heart which was soon given to my aunt. Without her making this decision I would not have gotten to meet my aunt. To read more on their story click the link below.

This year in August would have made 29 years since this successful transplant. Even though she has recently passed and family and I are heartbroken, I believe that she would have loved the idea of having this fundraiser created in her memory. 

She leaves behind husband: Timothy Kinler, brothers: Michael J Dardinger Jr. and John R Dardinger, father: Michael Dardinger, nieces and nephews: Jeanne, Danny, Nicolle, Justin and Ashley, step daughter: Elyssa, her grandchildren: Liam, Summer, Walter and Alex, and best friend Kathy Passmore.

She is preceded in death by her mother Judi Austin Coats, uncle Talymer "Tim" Clark, and grandparents Danny Austin, Martha and Delbert "Bud" Clark. And also her pets such as Dr. Pepper, Monte, and many more.
