Donating to our team provides funding to Leap Arts in Education. They sponsor artists, musicians, architects, designers, dancers, media artists, to create in-class programs serving over 7,000 bay area kids. Our team will meet three times before build day. In our first classroom visit we discuss this year's theme, Halloween Haunts, learning how designers visualize concepts. We'll drawing images that come to mind. Once we've settled on a visual we think will best convey our design, we will build 3D clay models, learning about structure, color, and what we think will work best on the beach. Our third visit is a field trip to the offices of our sponsors to meet with more architects, engineers and builders.
