Hey friends - Behind the Book is committed to cultivating a love for reading and writing in NYC students, empowering children to become lifelong learners who are passionate about acquiring knowledge. Their programs provide diverse and culturally relevant books, author visits, and interactive, multidisciplinary learning experiences that make a profound impact on young people. 

This year, due to the budget constraints faced by our schools, they are offering all programs to Title 1 schools FREE of charge.
