Hey kids! Hank and I are pretty excited to be taking part in Saint Francis Service Dogs' fourth annual Barks ‘n Rec spring fundraiser!  

Saint Francis raises, trains, and places service and facility dogs to help people with disabilities reach their own goals and achieve greater independence. Hank and I are participating in Barks 'n Rec to raise funds and awareness for Saint Francis Service Dogs' mission.  

Hank has had a great time in past B 'n R events; he has done a lot of hiking, picked up a BUNCH of litter along the Blue Ridge Parkway...he even co-starred in a movie last year with his buddy Frank!

This year, he's pivoting to a slightly more intellectual activity. Hank loves poetry (really...he does), and he especially loves poetry about dogs. So, our Barks 'n Rec activity this year is to feature a poem a day during Barks 'n Rec week, written by poets from across the centuries and around the world, all with a canine theme!
