My story begins in a place far away, where fear and uncertainty were my constant companions. Rescued from a South Korean dog meat farm by the kind souls at the Humane Society of the United States, I've embarked on a journey of healing and hope.

As you can probably imagine, my past experiences have left me wary of humans. I flinch at sudden movements and cower at unfamiliar sounds. But here at the New Hampshire SPCA, I've found some comfort in the gentle care of the staff here. Slowly, ever so slowly, I'm learning to trust again.

While I may never be a social butterfly, I dream of finding that one special person who will love me unconditionally. I may need time—lots of it—to adjust to life indoors, to the unfamiliar noises and objects that populate a home. But with patience and kindness, I believe anything is possible.

I'm eager to fundraise for Paws Walk this year to support more animals like myself—those who require a bit of extra care and time to find their forever homes.
