Attached is a flyer, it would be great to see you and your family at Saturday August 5ths entertainment, the 6th is a great time as well when the kids put in their work raising awareness for breast cancer.....Every year I volunteer for a local non profit event called skate the lake hosted by Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC). I do mostly operations and vendor set up. We are fundraising and I hope you will help. We focus our efforts on education for early detection, prevention through healthy lifestyles, alternative treatments and survivorship retreats. One of our focuses is to teach women the importance and frequency of self exams and how to do this properly and often. We give them a reminder shower hanger with directions and techniques to help encourage and remind them of the importance of self exams for early detection. We are not part of other mainstream efforts like the American cancer society. B4BC was started by the original Tahoe local pro women snowboarders who wanted to make a difference in our community.
