My Boston Marathon(s) journey started in 2022 just after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. 

I had the honor of running for AKTIV in 2023 making a small difference  helping others stay active while going through cancer treatment.

It was not about the miles ran throughout 2022-2023. Staying active was healing for my body and mind & brought so much happiness during the dark days.

AKTIV offers hope & enhances the outcome of cancer patients.

I am happy to report I am within $567 of my personal goal of $11,000 I set for myself. 

I had a few setbacks in training and took some time off to recover from sickness. The tendons decided to flair up last week so I am tiptoeing around any speed/hill work. Thank you Tamoxifen. You work with the...
