This summer I had the privilege of interning at Save A Child's Heart (SACH). During my time, I was able to interact with a number of incredible children, many of whom who you would have never guessed had heart problems. They came from far and wide to receive treatments and recover before returning home. I came away humbled and honored to be a part of such a wonderful and selfless organization that provides much needed care to those who need it most. By donating to SACH, you are directly impacting the lives of children in a positive manner so that they can live a long, happy, and healthy life. For more information on SACH, read below.
An estimated 5.5 million children in developing nations around the world will die because the required heart surgery they need is unobtainable. Save a Child's Heart (SACH) is committed to changing that.
Save a Child’s Heart (SACH) is an international non-profit organization which provides lifesaving cardiac care to children from 62 developing countries and counting, and offers comprehensive training to medical professionals from these countries, completely free of cost.
This year, I will be traveling to Israel to volunteer at the Save a Child's Heart Children's Home with children from all over the world that come to Israel for life-saving heart surgery. Check out this video to see what volunteering is like.
Join me as I share my experience at the SACH Children's Home.
