A native Charlottean, Susan has also lived in San Diego, California; Seattle, Washington; and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Susan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a gymnastics scholarship, earning her degree in Industrial Relations. Her husband, a former NFL player with the San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks, shares her love for sports, and together they have raised two children and a beloved Labrador, Mozart.

After settling in Charlotte in 1994, Susan quickly established herself as a top producer in the real estate industry, a title she has held consistently since 1998. Beyond her professional success, Susan is deeply committed to giving back to the city of Charlotte, a community that has given her and her family so much over the years. As a mother of two college-age children, Susan is particularly passionate about supporting pediatric and adolescent mental health care, recognizing the critical need for resources and awareness in this area.

Susan’s participation in Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte is a reflection of her commitment to her community. She sees this opportunity as a way to contribute meaningfully to the city she loves, using her platform to raise awareness and support for causes close to her heart. Balancing her professional life, family, and community involvement, Susan embodies the spirit of giving back and making a difference in the lives of others. Susan is honored to be participating in Dancing with the Stars of Charlotte in memory of her sister, Catherine Williams. She hopes that the money raised for the Katie Blessing Center will provide much-needed support to those in need of mental healthcare.
