I have some exciting (and slightly terrifying!) news to share—I’ve been selected as one of the “Stars” in this year’s Dancing With the Stars Charlotte! As someone who has never danced before, I have to admit, the thought of performing in front of a huge crowd is pretty scary. But I’m stepping way outside of my comfort zone for two causes that mean the world to me.

Over the next five months, I’ll be training with a professional dancer, putting in the hard work to help raise funds for The Katie Blessing Center, which provides vital pediatric behavioral health care, and the GoJenGo Foundation, a charity that offers financial assistance to individuals and families battling breast cancer.

As a long-time supporter and former board member of GoJenGo, I’ve seen firsthand how they help families when they need it most. And as the founder of Matone Counseling and Testing, I am deeply passionate about improving children’s mental health, which is why I’m equally proud to support The Katie Blessing Center.

I’m facing my fear of dancing in front of a big crowd because these two causes are so important to me. And I need your help to make it all worthwhile. Every donation, no matter the size, will go toward providing critical services to kids in need of mental health care and families who are fighting breast cancer.
