Charlotte Marshall Moore passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 91. She was preceeded in death by her husband Charles William Moore, Sr. and son, Marshall K. Moore. Charlotte and Charles Moore celebrated 59 loving years together.

She is survived by two children, Charles W. Moore, Jr. and Donna West-Suggs (Frederick). Charlotte and Charles both recognized Dr. Wanda L. Tucker as their daughter.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Sharlette M. Williams (Bobby), Jermaine West, R. Lorenzo West, RaShawn Ford, Christopher White, Latoya White and Alexis White.

Charlotte was lovingly known as Grand Grand to her great grandchildren Donnae West, Angel Sinclair-West, Rudy Elizabeth Taylor, Aveyona McLeish, Cashmere McLeish, Hakeem Hill and an adoring collective of family and friends.

Charlotte Moore was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church for many years and spent over forty years as a member of Little Zion Baptist Church here in Hampton Virginia. She served as the Choir Director of both the Mass Choir and Children’s Choir. Charlotte Moore was a Deaconess and co-chaired the Little Zion Church Anniversary Celebration with her husband, Deacon Moore.

Charlotte loved to serve and help others, especially if she could uplift those around her by lifting her voice in song. All enjoyed hearing her sing, as she cheerfully sang to the Lord everyday of her life.
