Human trafficking is where one person exerts control over another, either physically, financially or psychologically against their will. This can be done through forced labor, sexual exploitation, domestic servitude or forced marriage. Victims are often coerced, abducted or deceived into human trafficking.

Human trafficking is not only taking place in a distant country, it is happening in the United States - where estimates say there could be up to 400,000 victims living among us, and include men, women, and children from all backgrounds and ages.

We have been working with a fantastic organization that is proactively fighting this evil in the US and several other countries around the world. Hope for Justice is a non-profit organization that exists to bring an end to human trafficking.

Hope for Justice is actively on the streets looking for missing children and attempting to protect potential victims of human trafficking by spreading awareness throughout the community. There has been an alarming increase of traffickers grooming kids online lately, due in part to more children spending more time online due to the restrictions of the pandemic. Hope for Justice has been investigating these growing cases of online exploitation. They also provides aftercare housing to support survivors in a safe space, so that they can heal from their experiences.

What can your dollars do?

$30 – helps train more people in the community, ensuring they have the knowledge, tools and resources to protect their communities.

$50 – helps to fund investigative licensing for a whole year which will rescue more children who are at risk of exploitation
