Thanks to a generous gift from the Sabrina Merage Foundation, WE ARE gifts made by alumni of Moishe House programs (Moishe House Residents, MHWOW Hosts, and participants in Moishe House Jewish Learning Retreats and/or Camp Nai Nai Nai) will be matched up to $25,000 in total giving. Matching funds will benefit the Moishe House International Fund, Moishe House's initiative to sustain and grow our 45+ Moishe Houses in 30 countries outside of the United States and Canada, as well as related global Moishe House programming.

WE ARE Moishe House Boston - Cambridge:

Our Moishe House is a place where we invite our friends, newcomers to our city, and anyone who is looking for a place to belong to come together to create Jewish community. Now more than ever, we’re finding new ways to serve the needs of our community and to stay connected, whether through virtual or in-person gatherings where local conditions allow. We are proud to be part of a network of more than 140 houses and pods in over 30 countries around the world—being part of the Moishe House family is to be part of a local and global community all in one.

We exist because of you, our community members and families. We love creating moments that give you joy and a sense of belonging and purpose. But we don’t do it alone - we also exist because of our supporters who make all of this possible. During the 2021 WE ARE campaign, we hope that our community members and our supporters will be one in the same. We invite you to join this global effort to raise the support that will enable us to continue to provide the programming and community that you know and love through your personal contribution. We exist for you and because of you.

Your WE ARE contribution will directly support the programming and growth of our Moishe House.

Moishe House Alumni who make a meaningful gift of $180 or more (or $15+/month) will be included as a Moishe House Ambassador as part of our Alumni Giving Communities.

Your gift to Moishe House Boston- Cambridge could:

$5 - Contribute to an outreach activity by allowing a Resident to invite a community member for coffee in order to catch up on their lives

$10 - Provide an entrance fee to the cinema to watch the next Jewish movie.
$18 - Create a renewed appreciation for Jewish traditions for two community members through our House’s lively Shabbat dinners.

$36 - Instill the value of tikkun olam by supporting three young adults to volunteer in their community through a Moishe House program.

$72 - Transform a house into a home through the gift of a mezuzah, Shabbatniks (book of prayers) and other Judaica 

$180 - Give young adults a home-away-from-home for the holidays (such as Passover or Sukkot) through a holiday grant.

$360 - Provide opportunities to approach Jewish learning in new and exciting ways through Jewish Learning Series grants and Jewish Learning Retreats.

$500 - Give our community members a chance to connect to one another on a consistent basis by providing a month’s worth of programs (or more!).
