Welcome to our team page!

Welcome to our team page!

Thanks for joining us!  We will gather from 9am-12pm (flexible, come late or leave early if needed) and pitch in with a variety of easy garden chores - some weeding, mulching, spreading compost, organizing and generally getting ready for the season.  Please dress for being outside in Vermont during spring - aka mud season.  Bring gloves if you have them, and a water bottle for hydration.

Once you turn into the Ethan Allen Homestead drive, follow the road and you'll see our garden on the left where the road splits.  Stay to the right and park in front of the museum or in the adjacent lot near the gardens.  Walk back down the road or the path along the garden and check in with Angela.

Gardens in Vermont provide food and social connections for thousands of people, including many children and families at risk for food insecurity without access to them.

At our teaching garden, we show people how to plant and tend their own garden plot, plus share in the maintenance of fruit trees, herbs and collective crops.  Join us on Saturday, April 30 to mulch walkways, inventory garden tools, spread compost and prepare this outdoor classroom to nurture and feed 20 students and their families!

Want to help?  Please make a donation to our team. The process is fast, easy, and secure... and you can be sure that it will have a tremendous impact!
