Dear Friends and Family,

Sadly, almost each and every one of us has been affected directly or indirectly by cancer in our lives.

We each lost a parent to cancer far too early in life.

We each also have dearly loved friends and family who have had direct experiences with cancer.

Cancer has affected us far too deeply in our lives and we are eager to play a part in helping others.

In 2001, we met as work colleagues and we quickly became the best of friends.

Shortly thereafter, in November 2003, we ran the NYC Marathon together in support of the charity, “Children with Leukaemia”.

Now… 20 years later our friendship has become brotherhood… and against all odds (and against the wise advice of our friends and family)… we two old timers will once again run the NYC Marathon in November 2023.  

This time, we are running in support of “AKTIV Against Cancer”.

And we need your help!

We have an ambitious (but achievable) fundraising target of $20,000, which we want to surpass!

We want to do our part to make a difference.

And we would be thrilled, if you can support us in our efforts!
