Welcome to our team page!
The Ohio State ACTU, established by Dr. Robert J Fass in 1987 is one of 28 sites nationwide that conduct federally sponsored research studies for the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS, and related illnesses. We are staffed by an expert, multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
ACTG is a global clinical trials network that conducts research to improve the management of HIV and its comorbidities, develop a cure for HIV, and innovate treatments for tuberculosis, hepatitis B, and emerging infectious diseases.
ACTG is the world's largest and longest running clinical trials network focused on HIV and other infectious diseases and the people living with them.
Our research studies are on-going and open to anyone interested in participating.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the countless number of individuals who have volunteered and continue to volunteer to help us achieve our goal to cure HIV infection and reduce the burden of disease due to HIV infection.
A portion of the proceeds raised by our team will come back to our work.
