Help Wanted: Remi’s Kitchen Crew!
Bonjour!
Our head chef (aka little chef) is Remi, and she is our 2-year-old who is battling a rare disease called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH). She is currently receiving chemotherapy at Kapiolani Medical Center to treat the LCH in her femur and lungs. Remi is slowly adjusting to this new part of life; a life filled with doctor visits, labs, and medicines. We are so proud of Remi and we want to show her that she has a whole village that supports her too.
Help Wanted: Remi’s Kitchen Crew!
We’re looking for anyone who is fearless enough to join our Jingle Rock Run team. “You must be imaginative, strong-hearted. You must try things that may not work, and you must not let anyone define your limits because of where you come from. Your only limit is your soul. What I say is true – anyone can cook… but only the fearless can be great!” – Gusteau. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get your walk on because we’re cooking up a wide variety of dishes, wishes if you must, for children across the state who are battling critical illnesses. These dishes will serve hope and strength to fight their illnesses, reclaim their childhoods and envision a brighter future.
Those who joins Remi's Kitchen Crew for the Jingle Rock Run will receive a chef uniform, a chef hat and apron, to wear for the event.
Here are ways that you can support Remi:
