Dear Friends and Family, 

For my bar mitzvah community project, I want to focus my efforts on saving children with congenital and acquired heart defects who have no chance of surviving to adulthood in their native countries. I am doing so in memory of Grandpa Murray and HiPop Stanley, both of whom died from cardiac illnesses.

I have set a $1,800 fundraising goal and am kindly asking that donations be made to Save A Child's Heart (SACH), an Israeli-based organization with a mission to improve the quality of cardiac care for children regardless of their race, gender or nationality. Five thousand children have been directly saved by SACH, while thousands more are receiving lifesaving treatments they need to survive.  

The money raised goes to lifesaving surgeries and training doctors to perform the needed surgical procedures.
