Minds Matter NYC  is a nonprofit that transforms the lives of low-income high school students through a holistic three-year program providing students with mentoring and academic support in order to gain college prep program of mentoring and academic support.

Due to recent events, Minds Matter's typical fundraising events and opportunities have been canceled. For the past two years, We’ve been lucky to serve as a mentor for a high school junior named Alisha. We spend almost every Saturday during the school year working with her. Alisha has been able to take advantage of multiple opportunities through Minds Matter from a two-week internship at NBC to college application workshops. To experience Alisha's growth in the past two years has been such a rewarding experience and we are excited to see where her educational journey leads her.
