As students of the Second Online Leadership Class of Next Level Trainings, part of our transformational curriculum is to create a large scale community service project for a local non profit organization. Our team has chosen to support Front Steps Housing and Services. We’re super excited to be a catalyst for change in the lives of individuals and surrounding communities, by helping to break the cycle of homelessness. In Cuyahoga County, 18% of the population lives in poverty; More than half are chronically homeless, stifled by disabilities, mental illness and unemployment. To tackle the issue of homelessness, our aim is to help rebuild people and communities one by one. That’s why we’re supporting Front Steps Housing and Services, which provides safe, affordable housing, mental health support services and workforce training. To date, they’ve helped over 3,500 individuals and families get back on their feet. In just 19 days, our Next Level leadership class is committed to raising $50,000 to help with the purchase of basic housewares, toiletries, upgraded technology and the purchase of a 12-15 passenger van.

When we look to the many blankets that have covered us in our own times of need, how different would our course have been if there warmth escaped the attention of the one who was covering us. It is our shared responsibility to care for all, every little part of this ant hill floating in an endless sea of weightless time and space. Maybe, we’ve missed our salvation does not lay in the dust we form up out of the ground into things we love to whittle our passage of time away on, as it does in the words and actions we give to one another. It is the words we chose that echo, live, even survive this Earth; in those that stand beyond the wake of time and space. For we(!) are why heaven and earth came into existence. And now we stand here, right here, right now creating our current thought project, yeah the one we’ll use to walk into the action we now must choose. In learning to see and act, we become seen — seen even to ourselves. We are infinitely more powerful than currently known.

I told her about your CSP and she said she wanted to give it to you. She wanted me to tell you, “here is some money, I hope it helps!
