My name is Josie Stephens and I will be the coordinator for the Special Olympics Athlete and Unified Partner participating in the Youth Leadership Experience representing Team Oklahoma at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando June 5 - 12, 2022. All three of us will participate in a planned series of activities designed to engage Special Olympics youth leaders and develop their knowledge of inclusive youth leadership, management of Special Olympics events, and community programming. The USA Games will host 4,000+ athletes from throughout the United States that will travel to Orlando to compete on the national stage. I am honored to be in this role and be able to take two incredible high school students with me on this trip.

It will cost a minimum of $1,400 for Special Olympics Oklahoma to send me to Orlando. I am helping Special Olympics Oklahoma defray that cost as much as possible by aiming to raise a minimum of $1,000.
