Brandon Tyler
Brandon Tyler
Brandon Tyler is 25 years old and was diagnosed with Pelizaeus-Merzbacher Disease, a type of leukodystrophy, when he was 6 months old. We were told that he would only live to be 2 years old, but by the grace of God and the care of his doctors, he will turn 26 this July. His parents, Andy and Jackie, as well as his younger brother Matthew, do their best to provide him with the appropriate care he needs. Due to the pain that he has been in and the inability to determine what is causing it, Brandon was recently enrolled in Palliative care. Despite this, Brandon is always full of smiles and is always happy with his family by his side. Our wish is to be able to get a wheelchair-accessible van for Brandon, as transporting him to his doctor appointments has gotten increasingly difficult due to his father's back and heart issues and his mother's recent partial amputation on her left leg. Ultimately, we want to be able to provide him with an easier and less taxing way to get to his doctor appointments. Thank you for taking the time to read Brandon's story, and thank you for your generosity.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Everyone who supported Brandon and his family. You have made a difference in his life and theirs. Without your support, he would not have his van now. We are blessed!!!

WISH GIFT FULFILLED! Message from Jackie Taylor - We really like this van as it is a life-saver! It will make it so much easier to take Brandon to his doctor's appointments. Now it won't hurt him trying to get him in the vehicle. I want to thank everyone with all my heart for doing this for Brandon. Thank you once again!!!
