Addiction is an issue that is close to my heart, and I believe that we are all affected by it in some way. Whether alcohol, illegal or prescriptions drugs=this is a huge issue facing our communities.

More than 100,000 people in the US have died of an overdose death in the last year. Excessive alcohol use accounts for 380 deaths per day. 

This is why I walk. 

This is why my sister and I have put together a fundraiser to benefit MnTC. The money we raise goes entirely to benefit the men and women who enter into the treatment programs offered through Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. Lives are changed, stories are rewritten, and the ripple effect continues for generations. 

I am honored to be able to assist in this small way. To hope and pray along side those who are struggling. I am excited to see lives changed. I am humbled to be able to raise awareness of the issue of addiction. I am passionate about lives changed, chains breaking, and hope renewed.
