This is my 4^th year to participate in the COPS Walk Southwest. COPS is a 401c3 organization. Charity Navigator gives them an A+   4-star rating and ranks them in the top 4% of Charites to donate to. 90% of all monies raised go to help the survivors of our Law Enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.   

In 2023 there were 126 officers who died in the line of duty. There have been 11 officers who have died in the line of duty so far this year.

This year I am honored to be walking in memory Of Whatcom County Sheriff Deputy Matt Herzog who died in the line of duty on 9/13/2001.  Matt was 27 years old when he died. He was survived by his wife and parents.

I am also honored to be walking in memory of Skagit County Sheriff Deputy Anne Jackson who died in the line of duty on 9/2/2008. Ann was 40 years old when she died and was survived by her parents.

Last year I was able to raise $6700 this year I have set my goal to be $7000.  I am going to need a lot of help to reach this goal.  All donations are gladly accepted.
