With the patient experience at the forefront and the great outdoors as a backdrop, Camp Breastie brings together 500 individuals impacted by breast and gynecologic cancer regardless of their diagnosis or background, to find solace and strength in community.
This four day summit dismantles the idea that knowledge-sharing can only take place in stuffy conference rooms. From a challenging ropes course, informative panels, topic based meetups, to a dance festival of epic proportions, Camp Breastie has been a catalyst for transformative connections and knowledge-sharing. Insights gained have equipped Breasties with the tools to navigate the complexities of their health and wellness.
Camp Breastie costs The Breasties nonprofit organization over $500,000 to put on. We pride ourselves on bringing together renowned experts, innovators, advocates and researchers, we accommodate a wide range of dietary restrictions, and we plan over 100 Programs and activities to choose from.
When the community says jump, The Breasties always ask how high?
In order to keep Camp Breastie accessible for all, the ticket price for Camp has always been below the amount it costs the organization to run the program. It costs $1000 per Breastie to run Camp Breastie but it was important for us to reduce that cost as much as possible.
This year, with your help, we hope to make Camp Breastie FREE for all, through the Community Fund.
The Camp Breastie Community Fund allows for Breasties and supporters to fundraise to help raise money to offset the ticket prices for Breasties to attend Camp. Help us cover the cost of Breastie ticket prices and we will cover the rest.
