Be grateful and MAKE ME PAY!

In good old tradition and as Board member of The Children’s Place International, I am supporting our annual Place the Hope campaign to raise support for medically fragile children and youth living in extreme poverty across Africa and the Caribbean.

This is great work which Courtney and I were able to witness in Haiti in 2018 and the Dominican Republic earlier in 2023. For 2025, we are planning to observe the program firsthand in Tanzania. 

This year, we continue with our Child Thrive initiative supporting vulnerable youth impacted by:

- HIV/AIDS, conflict, and/or mental health in (a restless) Haiti

- HIV/AIDS, forced migration, and/or gender-based violence in the Dominican Republic

- Cancer, malnutrition and/or sickle cell disease in Tanzania

- Sickle cell disease in Kenya

We are focused on moving these children and their families beyond poverty and illness into possibility and hope!
